Akash Group of Institutions is the leading educational institution having a foundation laid in 2014. A state of the art campus situated in Bangalore, The Silicon Valley of India. The institute has grown into one of the leading academic institutions in Karnataka. Akash Institute of Physiotherapy was started in the year 2019 under Akash Group of Institutions. It is a co-education college that is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by the Government of Karnataka.


The college has been recognized for good academic reputation and excellent teaching methodology and techniques. It offers a high-quality and extensive curriculum for the BPT and MPT course which covers theoretical concepts, practical exposure, and includes skill-development activities like mentorship, workshops, internships, guest lectures, on-site visits, case studies, and seminars.


Akash Hospital

The Akash Group of Institutions has its own Teaching Hospital with all the cutting-edge infrastructure and treatment facilities. The Akash Hospital is developed according to the standard norms with Indian Medical Association (IMA) and NMC. The Akash Hospital is fully equipped with cutting edge medical technologies for top-notch treatment facilities. The hospital is equipped with 600 to 1000 beds and separate Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical Departments. The Akash Hospital played a key role during the pandemic by providing emergency response and treatments for the patients.

At Akash Institute of Physiotherapy, we strive to restore, maintain, and make the most of patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Each sessions will be unique, because it is all about you and your particular needs. Most importantly, we assess, diagnose, treat, and work to prevent disease and reduce disability. The Physiotherapy Department at Akash Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre is well equipped with advanced physiotherapy programs and get you involved in your own recovery. It includes all the electro modalities and exercise therapy unit. Along with a well-equipped therapeutic gymnasium which helps the patients perform well monitored and tailored exercise programs.
